How to Fix the "Uninstall detected that App is currently running" Error in Windows 11 or 10

Do you get the “Uninstall has detected that [YOUR APP] is currently running” error when you try to remove an app from your Windows computer?

1. Open Task Manager

  2. Select Task Manager from the menu.

2. Stop the app from running

  1. Type the name of the app you want to uninstall into the search bar.
  2. When you see the app in the list, right-click it.
  3. Click End Task.
